When racing is mixed with beauty, the result is Jody Takagi, an avid motorsports enthusiast and is been involved in the motorsports industry as a racer, model, consultant, and project manager and marketing specialist for motorsports from Seattle, WA. She is also the co-author of the book "Race to Win - Every Great Driver" with Alan Blair. She races a 2001 Porsche Boxster which she loves because of its versatility meeting all of her needs both on and off of the track. It’s a mid-engine balance, convertible with EVOMSit performance flash, EVOMS V-flow intake, H&R Springs, Toyo Tires, Custom painted pink calipers, and custom painted Recaro GT3 seats.
She has done competitive autocross and road rallies since 2007 and was the
only female to race as a sponsored racer in the inaugural Spectre 341
challenge/Virginia City hillclimb in 2010. Her other achievements include; 2007
Porsche Club of America Zone 6 Member of the year and Founder and organizer of
one of the NW largest exotics cars photoshoots & charity raffle event . She
has also taken part in events with the famous “The Destroyer” monster truck
jumping up to 12-15 feet high in the air in it. She says her love for racing
began at a young age when she trained horses and worked with retired or rescue
race horses that needed training to become English dressage, hunter/jumper, or
English pleasure horses and as she got older, her love for horses
transformed into motorsports horsepower at the same time acknowledging her
sponsors who include Toyo Tires, MAXRPM Motorsports, World Motorsports Breast Cancer Foundation, H&R Springs and Luxury4Play.com.
Famous Montreal tuner - Anibal Automotive Design also created a Porsche
Cayman after Jody Takagi and her racing colors and style. They named
it “Jody Edition”
Thank you for the article about me/my racing. It's always an honor and pleasure to be recognized. My family, friends, supporters, and sponsors have been amazing. It's been hard work but worth every moment. Keep your dreams alive! ~Jody
