Ferrari to name the 458 Scuderia “Monte Carlo”

We recently reviewed the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo and what is expected of it, well, similarly Ferrari will make a high performance version of the 458 italia. Ferrari has had a unique trend of releasing a more powerful version of most of their brands as seen in the F430 which became the 430 Scuderia and the 599 GTB Fiorano became the 599 GTO. Also, when Ferrari launches a new generation sports car on the market, we always expect at least three versions: a coupe, a spyder, and a Scuderia.

The 458 Italia is already nearing three years of age after It made its debut at the 2009 Frankfurt auto show and in the form of the 4.5-liter V-8 engine rated at 562HP at the 9,000 rpm redline, and 400 pound-feet of torque, 80 percent of which is available from 3,250 rpm the car has lived to its name so far so good. We already saw Ferrari introduce the Spider to the 458 range with a folding hardtop roof, and expected the Scuderia but Ferrari boss, Luca di Montezemolo, said that a 458 Scuderia would not be produced because the 458 Italia was just so advanced.
Recently, according to, there will be a high performance version of the Ferrari 458 Italia’s and will be named the Monte Carlo. It will pack a stunning 620HP from the tweaked V8 engine. Most of the details on the 458 Italia Monte Carlo are limited for the now but expect to see it soon.
